Winlink account
Your Winlink account is tied to your callsign. RadioMail uses it to send and receive mail. Account creation, recovery email, and password reset are administered by the Winlink team, not RadioMail.
Create or sign in
During setup, enter your callsign. If you already have a Winlink account, enter your password. If you do not, RadioMail creates one for you.
Within RadioMail, you can address recipient with their CALLSIGN. Your internet radio email address is your callsign plus @winlink.org, for example WH6AZ@winlink.org.
On a second device, RadioMail can adopt an account you already set up, including the password from iCloud Keychain. See iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
Recovery email
Set a recovery email when you create or activate your account. You need it to reset your password if you forget it later.
Use a normal internet address you can always reach, not an @winlink.org address.
To add or change it later, open My Account, log in with your callsign and password, choose Edit, enter the recovery email, and Save.
Password recovery works for callsign accounts only, not for tactical addresses.
Forgot password
Password reset is handled on https://winlink.org/user, not inside RadioMail.
Use the recovery form on that page. Winlink sends your password to your recovery email.
After you have the password, enter it in RadioMail under Settings → Account. If you change your password on My Account, update RadioMail the same way.
Need more help
For Winlink account and password issues, post on the Winlink Programs Group.
Winlink accounts stay active when you connect with a client over radio or the internet. Accounts unused that way for about 400 days can be removed.
