Manage what you run
Store credentials, open multiple nodes, and keep an eye on links without wrestling a terminal.
Hands-free when it counts
Latching PTT and full-duplex audio help you run a net without missing who’s doubling.
Connect to public nodes or your own, manage links, and keep audio dialed in. All from a simple, clean Mac native interface.
Connect directly to public nodes with your AllStar account. Experience the network without setting up your own node. Nodes available for public authentication are marked (wt) in the AllStar directory.
Securely store credentials for every node you manage. Automatic DNS lookup, reachability indicators, and up to eight nodes open at once.
Link your node to others on the network. See which stations are keyed, keep a history of linked nodes, and avoid accidental multi-node bridges.
Hold the PTT button or space bar to transmit. A timeout timer helps avoid timing out a repeater. Enter DTMF commands from the keypad.
Node information and location appear with callsign details. Registered node locations open on a map when available.
Latching PTT gives net control a hands-free experience. Full-duplex audio helps you hear stations that may be doubling with you.
Modify built-in DTMF commands to match your node. Define presets for operations you use often.
High-quality audio from any source connected to your Mac. Monitor and adjust levels with the calibrated audio monitor panel.
Standard macOS controls work with built-in accessibility features, including VoiceOver.
Switch between node connection windows, listen to traffic, or hit PTT to transmit. Dark mode is available for late-night operation.
Transceive runs natively on your Mac.
Mac with macOS 15.5 or later.
Valid amateur radio license and AllStar account or node credentials as required by the nodes you connect to.
Internet connection for AllStarLink node access.
Transceive has made a dream come true for me. I have always wanted to be able to use my nice broadcast Mics and soundboard to do net control and now Transceive alows me to do just that. Mahalo Transceive.

The developer has done a great job on this application and it shows when I use it. I had an issue with audio and reached out and he responded in a very timely manner and got it resolved for me.

It's about time that someone with great design and modern coding practices wrote software for macOS and the ham community. Maybe this can be the benchmark going forward for new apps for ham operators in the macOS world. Connects to Allstar nodes, great audio, easy to use interface, and everything you could want with nothing else to get in the way.

This is the best Allstar experience for a ham operator with MacOS -- hands down!

This has been VERY helpful! Simple, Effective. Allstar on the Mac, THANK YOU. Noting equivalent, yet, on Windows, and I am OK with that! Get a Mac.

I picked this app up recently to start playing around with Allstar, and it does not disappoint. Type in an Allstar node number and connect, it's that simple. My headphone/mic was automatically detected without fuss. An even-better feature I would love to see in the future is a file folder type structure for the node window, since the list can tend to get long. Also, being able to add a nickname to node entries to label them in a way that makes more sense to me would be a nice add also. I hope this app continues to get updates long into the future. I plan to tell all my fellow Hams about it and suggest they give it a try. 73s
