Information collection
Our apps are designed to respect your privacy. They primarily operate locally on your device, with limited data collection for reliability and improvement.
We use the following third-party services across all Island Magic apps:
Log data
When an app error occurs, we may collect diagnostic information through these services. This can include device IP address, device name and OS version, app configuration details, the timestamp of the error, and related technical information. We use it to identify and fix issues.
Amateur radio transmissions
Important: data transmitted over amateur radio is subject to amateur radio regulations and is publicly accessible. You must follow applicable regulations, never transmit sensitive personal information over the air, and maintain appropriate on-air conduct.
Data storage
Where an app syncs with iCloud, messages, settings, and related data live in your private iCloud account. That data is stored in your personal iCloud space and is not accessible to us. Additional preferences may be stored locally on your device.
Children’s privacy
Our apps are intended for licensed amateur radio operators and do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us and we will delete it.
Updates
